About the role
You will play a key role in delivering high‑quality, engaging English teaching across a range of full‑time and part‑time programmes. You will plan, prepare and assess learning activities while promoting essential skills such as literacy, numeracy and digital capability.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging English lessons to diverse learner groups.
- Plan, prepare and assess learning activities.
- Promote literacy, numeracy and digital capability.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and support basic and key skills delivery.
- Maximise learner attendance, retention and punctuality.
Required profile
- Qualified and experienced professional with strong subject knowledge.
- Recognised teaching qualification or willingness to obtain one.
- Understanding of current educational initiatives.
- Creative and innovative approach to developing teaching materials.
Required skills
- Intermediate IT skills, especially Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with learner management systems, student record systems, virtual learning environments and e‑learning platforms (desirable).
