Legal Counsel – French Speaking (UK locations)

About the role

We are looking for a French‑speaking Legal Counsel to join our team and shape how we manage contingent workforce engagements across the business. You will act as the go‑to specialist, providing clear, practical guidance while designing processes and delivering training that keep us aligned with regional regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead negotiation and review of commercial agreements across recruitment, staff leasing, EOR and service contracts.
• Provide pragmatic legal advice on all contingent workforce engagements.
• Oversee the full contract lifecycle from client agreements to worker and subcontractor contracts.
• Develop, implement and maintain compliant processes and governance frameworks.
• Ensure contractual documentation aligns with client requirements and internal standards.
• Interpret and apply employment and labour laws, including temporary worker legislation.
• Advise on employment queries, terminations and contractor matters.
• Deliver training to sales teams on compliant engagement models.
• Identify, assess and escalate risks related to worker classification and operating models.
• Maintain templates, track legislative changes and provide reporting to legal leadership.

Required profile

• Fluent French language skills.
• Experience providing legal advice on contingent workforce or employment matters.
• Strong understanding of UK employment and labour legislation.
• Proven ability to manage contract negotiations and full‑cycle contract administration.
