Legal Counsel (Funds)

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Counsel specializing in funds to join our fast‑growing EMEA legal team in London. The role offers the chance to work on the launch, structuring and distribution of private fund products within a dynamic, international investment platform.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate a variety of legal agreements with fund managers, distributors and other counterparties.
• Review and negotiate fund documentation, including offering materials, partnership agreements, side letters and placement agreements.
• Provide advice on fund formation, distribution and marketing activities across multiple jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with external counsel on regulatory, corporate and investment‑related matters.
• Support the development and launch of new products, structures and strategic initiatives.
• Lead legal projects and contribute to broader business growth initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer in the UK, Luxembourg or another relevant jurisdiction.
• 2‑5 years post‑qualification experience with strong funds exposure, gained in private practice or in‑house.
• Experience advising on private equity, hedge funds or alternative investment products.
• Familiarity with Luxembourg fund structures and cross‑border distribution arrangements.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation abilities.
• Commercially minded, proactive and comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders.
• Motivated to work in a high‑growth, entrepreneurial environment.
