Legal Counsel – Immediate Start (6‑Month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing technology business in central London that needs a junior lawyer to join its in‑house legal team on a six‑month fixed‑term contract. The role starts immediately and will primarily support the commercial contract workstream, with the possibility of assisting on M&A matters as workload permits.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts.
• Provide day‑to‑day legal advice to internal stakeholders.
• Support the M&A workstream when required, including due‑diligence and documentation.
• Maintain contract templates and ensure compliance with company policies.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer (LLB or equivalent) with a focus on commercial law.
• Recent experience (0‑2 years) in a law firm or in‑house legal department.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
