Legal Counsel – In‑House Role for RegTech SaaS & Consulting

About the role

We are partnering with a Series B RegTech and advisory business to hire its first dedicated Legal Counsel. The role sits at the intersection of a rapidly scaling SaaS platform for regulatory reporting and a boutique consulting practice, reporting directly to the Co‑Founders and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements.
• Support SaaS contracting and technology‑related matters.
• Advise on consulting agreements, statements of work and strategic partnerships.
• Act as an escalation point for contractual and legal risk issues.
• Develop and modernise legal documentation and processes.
• Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders across the business.

Required profile

• Approximately 4–5 years of post‑qualification experience.
• Strong commercial contracts background, either in‑house or in private practice.
• Experience in SaaS, technology, FinTech, consulting or fast‑paced environments is highly desirable.
• Comfortable working autonomously in a standalone legal role.
• Commercially pragmatic with strong stakeholder management skills.
• Academic background from a well‑regarded university preferred.
