Legal Counsel

About the role

Trustonic is seeking a Legal Counsel to support its rapid growth in the cybersecurity SaaS market. You will work within a lean legal team, partnering closely with the Head of Legal and multiple business functions to manage legal, regulatory and compliance risks.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, providing practical advice to internal stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks, enabling commercial outcomes across product, engineering, finance and other teams.
• Manage contract processes, approvals and documentation to ensure efficient deal execution.
• Coordinate with external counsel for specialist advice when required.
• Support day‑to‑day compliance activities, including data‑protection processes, vendor assessments and maintenance of compliance records.
• Develop and roll out policies, training and guidance across the organisation.
• Assist with corporate governance tasks such as board materials, filings and legal documentation.
• Improve legal processes, templates, tools and workflows.

Required profile

• Legal qualification with experience in commercial contracts and compliance.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑moving technology environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions.
