Legal Counsel (Remote, UK)

About the role

Juro is looking for a Legal Counsel to join its growing legal team and help scale its contract‑automation platform. Based in the UK and working fully remotely, you will be the go‑to lawyer for commercial contracts that require human judgement while the rest of the workflow is automated.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end system for commercial contracts, negotiating deals that truly need legal input.
• Refine contract templates, playbooks and AI‑review processes to minimise lawyer involvement.
• Supervise AI‑driven contract triage, intervene on exceptions and continuously improve the system.
• Handle a range of legal matters including vendor agreements, data‑protection work, compliance checks, marketing claims and occasional disputes.
• Collaborate with the General Counsel and other stakeholders to set thresholds, create playbooks and ensure consistent legal standards.

Required profile

• Located in the UK with long‑term right to work.
• 2‑4 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in commercial contract negotiation.
• Comfortable using AI‑enabled legal tools and improving automated workflows.
• Strong commercial judgement and the ability to make independent decisions.
