Legal Counsel – Satellite Ground Infrastructure (EMEA)

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Counsel to join Amazon’s Leo satellite initiative, focusing on the ground infrastructure that enables low‑latency broadband connectivity across the EMEA region. The role will be embedded with the ground‑gateway and networking teams, providing legal support for real‑estate, construction and telecom matters.

Key responsibilities

• Structure, draft and negotiate a variety of agreements for gateway sites, construction and operation of ground infrastructure.
• Provide day‑to‑day legal counsel to business teams on real‑estate, construction and telecommunications issues.
• Develop risk‑mitigation strategies and flexible processes that align with fast‑moving business needs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance with local regulations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer licensed to practice in a European, US or other common‑law jurisdiction.
• Minimum 5 years post‑qualification experience handling commercial agreements and transactions.
• Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous, fast‑paced environments and a strong interest in technology.
