Legal Counsel (Senior) – Commercial & Corporate Law

About the role

We are looking for a UK‑qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive to join our legal team as Legal Counsel or Senior Legal Counsel. Reporting to the General Counsel and Group Company Secretary, you will work closely with internal stakeholders across procurement, sales, marketing, IT, engineering and people functions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal support for commercial contracts, procurement, sales, marketing and partnership projects.
• Assist with non‑marine compliance, company secretarial duties and governance matters.
• Contribute to corporate, M&A, finance and transactional work as the business expands.
• Support growth‑project delivery and, where relevant, property and construction matters.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure legal risk is managed effectively.

Required profile

• UK‑qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive (approximately 2‑5 years PQE, but other experience considered).
• Strong technical background in commercial contracting.
• Experience supporting procurement, sales and marketing functions.
• Interest in legal technology and operations is a plus.
• Desirable experience in property, construction, corporate, finance, governance or employment law.
