Legal Entity Controller (IFRS accounting) - Associate

About the role

Join the Legal Entity Control team at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as an Associate Legal Entity Controller, focusing on IFRS accounting for a key UK regulated entity. You will work closely with colleagues in London, Mumbai and Warsaw to ensure high‑quality statutory financial statements and robust control processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare statutory financial statements and key disclosures under UK GAAP for a regulated entity.
• Produce working files, support audit papers and liaise with external auditors.
• Maintain and reconcile the local ledger platform and operating model.
• Conduct technical UK GAAP/IFRS accounting analysis, including memos and new‑product assessments.
• Identify and drive process and control enhancements, supporting projects that impact local accounts.
• Build relationships across Finance to coordinate audit requests and cross‑entity disclosures.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent) with post‑qualified experience.
• Solid understanding of investment and retail banking financial accounting and products.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical capability to discuss legal entity and business results.
