Lettings Manager

About the role

The Lettings Manager will lead a busy residential lettings department in Croydon, driving growth, managing a team and delivering high‑quality service to landlords and tenants. This permanent, full‑time position offers the chance to shape the agency’s market share while working in a supportive, professional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the lettings department.
• Lead, motivate and develop a team to meet and exceed targets.
• Generate new lettings business and increase market share.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants.
• Conduct market appraisals, win new instructions and ensure compliance with lettings legislation.
• Monitor team performance, support staff development and achieve branch KPIs.

Required profile

• Several years’ experience in residential lettings, preferably in a managerial role.
• Strong understanding of the lettings process and relevant legislation.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Proven track record of winning new business and increasing revenue.
• Knowledge of the Croydon area and a full UK driving licence.
