Lettings Manager – Lead Residential Lettings Team

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Lettings Manager to take ownership of a thriving residential lettings department in Croydon. You will lead a high‑performing team, drive business growth and ensure exceptional service for landlords and tenants.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day performance and growth of the lettings department.
• Provide expert lettings advice and deliver outstanding customer experiences.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities to increase profitability.
• Conduct rental valuations and advise landlords on pricing and marketing strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants and key stakeholders.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members through regular training and meetings.
• Monitor local market trends and maintain expert knowledge of the Croydon lettings market.
• Ensure properties are marketed effectively to maximise results.
• Consistently achieve and exceed branch and individual performance targets.

Required profile

• Previous experience in residential lettings, preferably at a management level.
• Proven ability to generate new business and grow market share.
• Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Commercially minded with a customer‑focused approach.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Knowledge of the Croydon property market is advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence.
