Level 2 Driver (C1, 7.5T) – Local Collection

About the role

Join our friendly collection team as a Level 2 Driver, operating C1 (7.5T) vehicles on local waste‑collection routes. Enjoy Monday‑to‑Friday daytime hours, 7.5‑hour shifts, and a balanced work‑life schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Drive a 7.5‑tonne collection vehicle on assigned local routes.
• Adhere to health and safety standards and company policies.
• Maintain accurate tachograph records using a digital tachograph card.
• Complete waste collection duties efficiently and safely.
• Provide coverage for early mornings, occasional weekends and bank holidays, with overtime opportunities.

Required profile

• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors.
• Good local knowledge of routes.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Availability for a 37‑hour work week, including early mornings and occasional weekend/bank‑holiday work.

Required skills

• Valid Category C1 (7.5T) driving licence.
• Current digital tachograph card.
• Completed Driver CPC qualification.
