Level 2 EN4179 Qualified NDT Inspector – Bristol

About the role

Testia Ltd is seeking a Level 2 EN4179 qualified NDT Inspector to join its fast‑growing team in the Filton area. You will work on both manufacturing and in‑service components, supporting customers across the aerospace and industrial sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Perform, interpret and report ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, dye penetrant and eddy‑current inspections.
• Visit customer sites, often on overnight assignments, to carry out inspection work.
• Document test results in line with company procedures and maintain personnel records for qualification renewal.
• Act as the primary contact for customers with ongoing NDT requirements.
• Support the sales team with technical discussions and acquire new qualifications as needed.
• Undertake additional duties as defined in the role specification.

Required profile

• EN4179 Level 2 (or Level 3) certification in UT, PT, ET, RT and/or MT.
• Documented experience hours for all listed NDT methods, including aerospace/aircraft work.
• Experience with in‑service and manufacturing inspections of metallic and composite components.
• Ability to work independently, travel on short notice and obtain UK Security Check clearance.
• Valid UK driving licence (Class B) and proficient English communication skills.
