Level 2 Paper Production Operator

About the role

Saica Group is seeking a Level 2 Operator to work on its paper manufacturing line. The role involves operating the production process on a 12‑hour shift pattern, ensuring efficiency, safety and product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the paper manufacturing process to meet production targets and efficiency standards.
• Carry out health and safety audits during the shift and report any issues.
• Perform quality checks and escalate non‑conforming product.
• Support the shift manager and Level 1 operator with H&S, environmental and quality compliance.
• Collaborate with the maintenance department to resolve technical issues.
• Participate in annual shutdowns and additional mandatory shifts as scheduled.

Required profile

• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, preferably paper production.
• Strong awareness of health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Ability to work 12‑hour rotating shifts and adapt to shutdown periods.
• Willingness to complete mandatory training and follow standard operating procedures.
