Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant – Blackpool

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Blackpool from September 2026. This full‑time, term‑time position offers the chance to work closely with pupils and the teaching team to enhance learning outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to pupils within the classroom.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
• Help create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Encourage pupil participation, confidence and independence.
• Support children’s social, emotional and academic development.
• Monitor progress and give feedback where required.

Required profile

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Experience working with children in a school or educational setting.
• Passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliability, proactivity and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Positive and adaptable approach to supporting learning.
