Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant – Lewisham (Full‑time)

About the role

An outstanding primary school in Lewisham is seeking a caring Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join its Early Years team from September. You will work with children aged 3‑5, supporting their learning and development in a safe, nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging EYFS activities.
• Support pupils with early literacy, numeracy, communication and social skills.
• Promote independence, positive behaviour and inclusive participation.
• Help maintain a clean, safe classroom setting.

Required profile

• Recognised Level 3 childcare qualification.
• Previous experience in an EYFS or early years setting.
• Passion for supporting young children’s development through play‑based learning.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
• Ability to plan and deliver age‑appropriate activities.
• Strong communication skills with children and staff.
