Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Canary Wharf)

About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support a mainstream primary school in Canary Wharf, London. The role involves classroom assistance, nursery teaching activities and supporting pupils throughout the school day.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the class teacher with planning, preparation and delivery of lessons.
• Support pupils during daily activities, including breakfast, lunch and outdoor play.
• Participate in parent evenings and communicate pupil progress.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Follow the school’s safeguarding policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of classroom support experience in the UK.
• Cache Level 3 qualification in Education, Support or Childcare.
• Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (issued within the last year).
• Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS with online update service.
• Two professional child‑related references covering the last two years.
