Litigation Solicitor (2+ PQE) – Dispute Resolution in Brighton

About the role

We are seeking a Litigation Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least two years post‑qualification experience to join our growing Dispute Resolution team in Brighton. The successful candidate will handle a diverse range of contentious matters, including probate, property, professional negligence and contract disputes, while receiving mentorship from a specialist in contentious probate.

Key responsibilities

• Manage an independent caseload from initial instruction through settlement, mediation and court proceedings.
• Advise clients on litigation strategy and risk.
• Draft pleadings, statements, settlement agreements and other legal documents.
• Liaise with counsel, expert witnesses and other third‑party advisers.
• Attend hearings and represent clients where required.

Required profile

• Solicitor or CILEX qualification in England & Wales.
• Minimum 2 years’ post‑qualification litigation experience.
• Experience in at least one of: contentious probate, TOLATA, property litigation, professional negligence or contract disputes.
• Ability to work independently while benefiting from senior mentorship.
