Lloyd's Broker – Non-Marine & Property XL Treaty

About the role

Join a respected Lloyd's insurance broker located in the City of London. The team is seeking an experienced broker to specialise in Non‑Marine and Property Treaty XL business, offering a dynamic environment and the chance to contribute to a successful operation.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new contract and renewal enquiries.
• Submit enquiries and amendments to underwriters.
• Develop and maintain relationships with underwriters, agents and clients.
• Support the Divisional Director with all broking requirements.
• Research reinsurance companies and products to secure optimal terms and pricing.
• Arrange specialised reinsurance cover for complex cases, prepare reports and negotiate as needed.
• Advise clients and agents on risk‑management strategies.
• Produce and process open‑market slips and assist with binding authorities.
• Assist in claims handling and ensure compliance with regulatory procedures.
• Perform general administration, maintain records and handle ad‑hoc duties.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Lloyd's broker environment.
• Part CII qualification or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong communication, organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
