Locum Family Therapist – Part‑time (2 days/week)

About the role

This part‑time locum position offers an experienced Family Therapist the chance to work two days per week in a specialist mental health clinic in West Sussex. The service provides inpatient care for adults with eating disorders within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment focused on evidence‑based recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver systemic family therapy interventions to patients and their families.
• Conduct family assessments and develop collaborative treatment plans.
• Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery.
• Attend MDT meetings and contribute to care planning.
• Provide specialist advice and support to colleagues where appropriate.

Required profile

• Qualified Family Therapist with experience in eating disorders or broader mental health.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication skills for family and team interactions.
