Logistics Administrator – Transport Distribution (Maternity Cover)

About the role

This temporary, full‑time position provides maternity cover for a Transport Distribution Administrator in Croydon. You will support the end‑to‑end supply chain, liaising with retail partners, couriers and warehouse teams to ensure smooth deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange and book delivery slots with retail partners.
• Book vehicle couriers and manage shipping documentation.
• Coordinate deliveries, update drivers and couriers on status, and handle data entry.
• Raise investigations for missed or delayed deliveries.
• Create inbound orders using D365 and WMS systems.
• Support warehouse operations, including picking and packing during quieter periods.

Required profile

• Intermediate knowledge of Excel and Word.
• Experience with D365 (Dynamics 365) and WMS (Warehouse Management System) for order creation.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
• Ability to communicate effectively with drivers, couriers, warehouse staff and management.
