Logistics Agent

About the role

Join Calor Gas Limited’s Manchester site as a Logistics Agent, supporting site safety, inventory control and transport planning. You will act as the primary point of contact for customers, handling orders and queries across phone and digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Assist site management with compliance, health & safety, inventory and financial controls.
• Conduct daily safety walk‑abouts, record observations, near‑misses and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Place delivery and collection orders using SAP and manage inbound/outbound customer calls via Salesforce.
• Receive and issue stock in barrels, perform physical stock counts and update the system.
• Raise and receipt purchase orders, monitor stock levels and process aborts, cancellations and returns.
• Support drivers by preparing loading sheets, manifests and tracking journeys through the telematics system.
• Maintain general housekeeping and ensure a tidy, safe work environment.
