Luxury Art Sales Consultant – Contemporary Gallery

About the role

This position offers a unique chance to combine consultative sales expertise with a passion for contemporary art. You will represent a high‑end art gallery, promoting prestigious works to discerning clients while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business through proactive phone and email outreach and daily client‑list calls.
• Welcome and advise visitors in the gallery, guiding them through the collection and matching pieces to their tastes.
• Achieve realistic monthly sales targets and earn commission on top of a base salary.
• Maintain detailed client records and follow‑up communications to nurture long‑term relationships.
• Conduct home consultations when required, travelling to client locations.
• Work flexible hours, including busy weekends, to maximise footfall and sales.

Required profile

• Strong desire to sell luxury products and deliver outstanding client service.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and manage a personal sales pipeline.
• Appreciation for contemporary art is preferred, though not mandatory.
• Willingness to work a five‑day week with frequent weekend shifts.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle is advantageous.
