Machine Operator – Lathe, Grinding & Polishing

About the role
Quaker Houghton is seeking a motivated Operator to join its Aberdeen site. You will work with a range of manufacturing equipment, supporting the production of industrial process fluids for a global customer base.
Key responsibilities
- Operate lathe, grinding, lapping and polishing machines as required.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on the equipment.
- Maintain accurate machine logbooks.
- Ensure adequate stock of consumables such as cutting tips, cutters and grinding wheels.
- Follow all health and safety procedures on client sites.
Required profile
- Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a team.
- High safety awareness and good communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy.
