Machine Operator – Packing Shift

About the role
Join ASR Group’s UK plant as a Machine Operator on a rotating three‑shift schedule. You will work on the processing and packing of Tate & Lyle and other customer‑branded sugar products, ensuring safe and efficient operation of the line.
Key responsibilities
- Operate packaging and syrup processing equipment in compliance with SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment & Quality) standards.
- Meet production and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) targets for high‑value sugar base products.
- Minimise waste by maintaining tight product specifications and handling material releases under concession.
- Record operational and traceability data to meet BRC and customer requirements.
- Support a team of operators across 14 packaging lines handling a wide range of SKUs.
Required profile
- Team‑oriented communicator who can also work independently.
- Self‑motivated with a focus on personal and process development.
- Good working knowledge of the entire plant operation.
Required skills
- Forklift (FLT) operation experience.
