Maintenance Electrician – Retail Facilities (London)

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Maintenance Electrician to join the facilities team of a leading bakery chain operating over 110 stores across North and West Greater London. You will be based on‑site, delivering reactive and planned electrical maintenance, ensuring all locations remain safe, compliant and fully operational.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out reactive electrical fault finding and repairs across multiple retail sites.
• Perform scheduled Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on all electrical systems.
• Ensure health and safety and regulatory compliance for each location.
• Support larger capital expenditure (CapEx) projects with electrical expertise.
• Progressively take on responsibility for managing a small maintenance team.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualified electrician.
• Proven facilities maintenance experience, preferably on multi‑site retail environments.
• Ability to work across the Greater London region (North & West).
• Motivation to develop into a management role.
