About the role
We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with strong carpentry and joinery expertise to join our PfP Students team. You will work on‑site five days a week, providing technical support, diagnosing and repairing carpentry issues, and contributing to the overall maintenance of university campus buildings and student accommodation.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair and maintain all carpentry and joinery elements on site.
- Carry out general maintenance tasks as required.
- Ensure Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) programmes are completed on schedule.
- Perform remedial work and address ad‑hoc repair requests.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety and DBS requirements.
Required profile
- Certificate & Grade (C&G) in Carpentry & Joinery.
- Experience or qualification in fire door repair and maintenance.
- Familiarity with PPM processes and Computer‑Aided Facility Management (CAFM) systems is desirable.
