Maintenance Engineer – CNC Machining Facility

About the role

Join a world‑leading engineering manufacturer as a Maintenance Engineer, ensuring CNC machining equipment runs at peak performance. You will work within a close‑knit team on a large CNC facility, handling both planned and reactive maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance across a large CNC machining facility.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Maintain CNC machine tools, including spindles, ball screws and linear guides.
• Conduct fault diagnosis on Fanuc‑controlled equipment.
• Support machinery installations and commissioning projects.
• Drive reliability and continuous improvement initiatives while adhering to engineering and health & safety standards.

Required profile

• Apprentice‑trained or recognised engineering qualification.
• Experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical fault‑finding skills with electrical competence.
• Experience with CNC machinery is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and industrial machinery.
