Maintenance Engineer – Days Shift (Preston)

About the role

This full‑time, days‑only position is based in Preston and offers a stable Monday‑to‑Friday schedule with an early finish on Fridays. You will join a growing manufacturing company that is investing heavily in new machinery and production capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on a variety of manufacturing equipment.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes.
• Respond quickly to reactive breakdowns and carry out fault finding.
• Repair and maintain production lines to minimise downtime.

Required profile

• Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias, preferably from a manufacturing or industrial background.
• Basic electrical knowledge.
• Desire for a stable, days‑based role with strong overtime earning potential.
