Maintenance Engineer – Four Day Week

About the role

This is a permanent, full‑time Maintenance Engineer position offering a four‑day work week. You will join a close‑knit team focused on preventive maintenance (PPM) and project work, with no on‑call duties and a strong emphasis on work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot production machinery across shifts.
• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) programmes.
• Deliver project‑based improvements and upgrades.
• Work a rotating shift pattern: Monday‑Wednesday 06:00‑18:00, Thursday 06:00‑15:00 (alternating weeks of days and nights).
• Participate in further PLC training and technical development.

Required profile

• Qualified Electrical, Service or Maintenance Engineer.
• Strong interest in industrial automation and controls.
• Motivated, quality‑focused and able to work independently within a team.

Required skills

• Electrical knowledge.
• PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Automation and control systems.
• Experience with production machinery maintenance.
