Maintenance Engineer (Training on PLCs)

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer with a manufacturing background to join a fast‑growing food production company in Dartford. The role is site‑based, offers PLC training and a clear pathway into management, and provides a supportive, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs on a wide range of food production machinery.
• Diagnose and fault‑find mechanical and electrical equipment, including refrigeration systems.
• Service, maintain and repair production machinery to ensure optimal performance.

Required profile

• Experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to work on‑site Monday‑Friday, with shift options 6:30 am‑3:30 pm or 8 am‑5 pm.
• Multi‑skilled in both mechanical and electrical disciplines.
