Major Opportunities Specialist

About the role

This position is pivotal to BT's strategic growth, focusing on securing and delivering high‑value, complex, customer‑centric opportunities. You will align customer needs with BT's capabilities, drive innovation, and act as a trusted partner for transformational solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic opportunities from initiation to closure, defining bid and win strategies.
• Collaborate with senior internal stakeholders up to MD level and external clients to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Orchestrate cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑value solutions on tight timelines.
• Maintain and leverage DV security clearance throughout the engagement lifecycle.

Required profile

• Must hold DV (Developed Vetting) security clearance or be eligible to obtain it.
• Residency in the UK for at least 10 years.
• Proven experience in managing complex, high‑value opportunities within a security or telecom environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including interaction with senior executives.
