About the role

We are seeking a Management Accountant to join a major public sector organisation in Edinburgh on a three‑month contract, with the possibility of extension. The role is hybrid, allowing you to work both on‑site and remotely while supporting the finance team.

Key responsibilities

Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
Produce monthly management accounts for internal reporting.
Deliver financial analysis and insight to senior stakeholders.
Lead reporting, financial modelling and ad‑hoc financial projects.
Manage and support a small finance team.

Required profile

Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CA or equivalent).
Strong experience in FP&A, reporting and financial modelling.
Confidence working with senior stakeholders.
