Management Accountant – Financial Reporting & Client Liaison

About the role

The role of Management Accountant in Chippenham offers an exciting opportunity to manage financial reporting and analysis within the professional services industry. This position is ideal for someone with strong accounting skills and the ability to liaise effectively with external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely management accounts for external clients.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support client decision‑making.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Manage client relationships and address their financial queries effectively.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes for external stakeholders.
• Oversee cash flow management and financial planning for assigned accounts.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and implement best practices.

Required profile

• Recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Experience in residential property or BTR, understanding rent rolls, service charges and property KPIs.
• Proven expertise preparing management accounts and financial reports.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Effective communication skills to explain financial data clearly.
