About the role

This position is with a growing, reputable organisation based in Guildford. The role starts on a contract basis with strong potential to become permanent and offers a hybrid working arrangement after training.

Key responsibilities

Prepare monthly management accounts with clear commentary on variances.
Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations.
Prepare accruals and pre‑payment schedules.
Maintain fixed‑asset registers and interest & loan schedules.
Ensure data in the system is accurate and up‑to‑date for reporting.
Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and respond to auditor queries.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prepare annual budgets.
Manage large volumes of financial data using internal systems.

Required profile

Previous experience in a similar management accounting role.
Qualified, QBE, or part‑qualified candidates will be considered.
Advanced IT/Excel skills.
Available to start at short notice.
