Management Accountant

About the role

Indevor Group is seeking a Management Accountant to join its fast‑growing finance team in Chorley. Working closely with the Managing Director, you will help deliver accurate financial reporting, support business improvement initiatives and maintain strong financial controls.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare end‑of‑month management accounts and profit & loss reports, highlighting performance trends.
• Handle day‑to‑day bookkeeping, including sales and purchase invoice processing.
• Reconcile bank and credit‑card statements and maintain up‑to‑date financial records.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with HMRC requirements.
• Monitor debtor balances and manage credit control to ensure timely collections.
• Support the Managing Director with financial analysis and efficiency‑driving initiatives.

Required profile

• Ambitious, driven and willing to work hard in a high‑performance environment.
• Open to learning; no prior sector experience required as full training will be provided.
• Resilient and comfortable handling challenges in a fast‑moving start‑up.
