Management Accountant

About the role

Join Beauty Pie’s high‑performing finance team as a Management Accountant. You will own key parts of the month‑end close and provide financial insight that drives decisions across our fast‑growing e‑commerce business.

Key responsibilities

• Own critical month‑end close activities, including logistics and marketing cost lines.
• Prepare segmental P&L reports and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to produce management accounts analysis.
• Partner with business units to ensure accurate and timely cost capture.
• Support statutory reporting and maintain compliance with legislative requirements.
• Serve as the primary contact for auditors and help prepare annual financial statements.
• Manage US sales‑tax filings, quarterly reconciliations and stay updated on nexus changes.
• Approve purchase orders, invoices and match bank payments.
• Produce external reporting for key stakeholders and departmental variance analysis.
• Contribute to projects that drive growth, improve processes and enhance financial output.
• Assist the Senior Financial Reporting Manager with ad‑hoc analysis and reporting.

Required profile

• Qualified ACA or ACCA.
• Minimum 1 year of industry experience (e‑commerce or beauty preferred).
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Curious about AI and workflow automation to improve efficiency.
• Experience working in agile environments and a self‑starter attitude.
• Consistently raises the bar on output and process quality.

Required skills

• Proficiency with NetSuite (advantage).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with multi‑currency balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Knowledge of US sales‑tax compliance and filing.
