Management Accountant

About the role
We are seeking a Management Accountant to join our finance team in Surrey. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will play a key role in delivering accurate management information and supporting strategic decision‑making.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts and associated analysis.
- Develop forecasts and budgets in line with business objectives.
- Compile statutory accounts and ensure timely filing.
- Perform financial analysis and produce financial reports.
- Process journals, balance‑sheet reconciliations and manage fixed‑asset accounting.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of finance systems and processes.
Required profile
- Accounting qualification or finalist status (ACCA, CIMA) – or strong experience in a similar role.
- Experience in charity or education sectors is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and deliver high‑quality work.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
What we offer
- Competitive salary up to £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
- Office‑based role in Surrey with a supportive finance team.
