Manager, Client Relationship Management - Insurance

About the role

Aviva Investors is hiring a Manager of Client Relationship Management to join its UK Insurance Clients team within the Insurance Distribution channel. The role leads and oversees the Client Relationship Manager (CRM) team, which manages and services internal and external insurance clients across a range of asset classes. It is based in London and other locations cannot be considered.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the CRM team, setting clear expectations and ensuring consistent, high-quality client servicing.
• Act as the primary escalation point for client servicing issues, ensuring timely resolution and coordination across stakeholders.
• Maintain oversight of client servicing delivery across mandates and asset classes, keeping it proactive and consistent.
• Drive alignment and continuous improvement of client servicing processes, embedding best practice and efficiency.
• Build strong relationships across Aviva Investors and act as a central coordination point for servicing matters.
• Oversee onboarding and mandate changes, ensuring appropriate governance and implementation.
• Support Client Relationship Directors by identifying and escalating commercial opportunities and ensuring a seamless client experience that supports retention and growth.

Required profile

• Strong experience in asset management client servicing or relationship management, ideally supporting insurance clients day to day.
• Solid understanding of investment products, asset classes and the operational lifecycle of client mandates.
• Proven experience managing or coordinating teams, driving consistent delivery and accountability.
• Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and complex servicing requirements.
• Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Relevant degree or equivalent experience; IMC (or equivalent) required and regulatory threshold competent.
• Will be certified under the FCA/PRA Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR), with background checks and annual fit-and-proper questions.
