Manager DSV and Parcel Carrier Relations

About the role

The Parcel Carrier Manager will lead the development, management and optimisation of relationships with parcel carriers and delivery partners. This role ensures market‑leading service, cost efficiency and commercial performance across parcel, returns, locker and final‑mile services.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary commercial contact for parcel carriers and logistics partners, building and maintaining strategic relationships.
• Lead commercial negotiations, manage contracts, amendments, renewals and service agreements.
• Develop and monitor carrier KPIs such as on‑time delivery, first‑time delivery success, claims, customer satisfaction and cost per parcel.
• Produce regular performance reports, drive continuous improvement and manage escalations.
• Identify opportunities to expand parcel volumes, support new solutions (parcel lockers, click‑&‑collect, returns, B2B propositions) and evaluate emerging carrier technologies.
• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure scalability, support onboarding and maintain readiness during peak periods.
• Manage carrier‑related budgets, monitor commercial performance and deliver cost‑saving initiatives.
• Ensure carriers comply with contractual, legal and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Ability to work cross‑functionally with Commercial, Operations, Finance, Technology and Customer Experience teams.
• Experience managing carrier relationships, contracts and performance governance.
• Strong analytical mindset to monitor KPIs and produce actionable insights.
• Proven capability to manage budgets and drive cost‑efficiency initiatives.
