Manager, Treasury New Products (Crypto & Digital Assets Lead)
checkout.com · London
Job description
About the role
Checkout.com is looking for a Manager, Treasury New Products to join the Treasury New Products function within Group Treasury in London. The team sits at the intersection of product development, commercial strategy and treasury risk management, acting as a bridge between product and engineering teams and treasury subject matter experts so that new product initiatives are financially sound, scalable and compliant. The role is the primary driver and subject-matter expert for digital assets and crypto-related initiatives from a Treasury perspective, and will also build an end-to-end understanding of Checkout's broader infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the Treasury partner for product-led crypto and digital asset initiatives, and lead Treasury-driven digital asset projects that drive transformation and optimisation.
- Review and advise cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Commercial, Legal) on crypto/digital asset product opportunities from the Treasury standpoint.
- Serve as the main point of contact for Product teams and Treasury SMEs, and vice versa.
- Assess Treasury impacts and turn requirements from Treasury SMEs (risk management, bank relations, data, system integration, operations) into prioritised business requirements for new products.
- Drive the digital assets native strategy and implement changes to Treasury management infrastructure and tooling with Product and Engineering.
- Ensure capabilities, data flows and risk controls are robust and processes are in place before products go live.
- Build broad knowledge of Checkout's infrastructure and product stack, and help solve challenges between fiat and digital asset products.
- Support the documentation of operating models, frameworks and policies for New Products at enterprise level.
Required profile
- Hands-on experience with crypto wallets or digital assets ecosystems (e.g. crypto-native firm, fintech, digital-asset banking).
- Treasury/finance change management or Product Management experience with complex payment infrastructure, flow of funds and cash management.
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and engage diverse stakeholders.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical and communication skills, with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in new product assessments, project management or business advisory roles.
- Understanding of complex payment and flow of funds, and familiarity with financial resource or cash management practices.
The company offers a hybrid model with three days per week in the office.
