Managing Associate

About the role

We are seeking a Managing Associate to join our award‑winning Employment team. You will work alongside a globally‑connected group of legal experts, advising UK‑based and multinational clients on a full spectrum of employment matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day general employment advice, including disciplinaries, grievances, contracts, flexible working, maternity rights and discrimination issues.
• Handle employment litigation, defending and bringing Employment Tribunal claims such as unfair dismissal, whistleblowing and equal pay.
• Manage high‑court matters including restrictive covenant disputes, injunctions and confidential information claims.
• Advise on trade union and collective matters, covering industrial action, collective consultation, union recognition and works councils.
• Support transactional work, delivering employment due‑diligence, TUPE advice and other M&A‑related employment issues.

Required profile

• Experience advising UK and multinational clients on employment law matters.
• Proven ability to work within a top‑ranked, globally‑connected employment team.
• Strong understanding of the full range of employment services listed above.
