Managing Director – Global Head of Communications Corporate Banking

About the role

Citi is seeking a senior leader to serve as the Global Head of Communications within Corporate Banking. Based in London, the role will shape strategy, drive revenue growth and nurture relationships with communications‑focused corporate clients across the globe.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a business strategy for communications clients, targeting acquisition and revenue goals in partnership with Investment Banking and Capital Markets.
• Maintain senior‑level relationships, providing trusted advisory and strategic dialogue.
• Originate and monetize opportunities across Citi’s full product suite, including cash management, trade finance, FX, loans, debt capital markets, and derivatives.
• Lead the Communications team, overseeing treasury and corporate finance solutions for clients.
• Implement calling plans and business‑development initiatives to ensure consistent coverage of the client base.
• Mentor junior staff, fostering banking skills and communications expertise.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in corporate banking with a focus on communications‑sector clients.
• Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and growing client relationships.
• Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively across product partners and geographic regions.
