About the role
We are seeking a mechanically‑minded Manufacturing Engineer to join a specialist rubber sealing and moulding manufacturer. The role combines CNC machining, product development support and maintenance duties within a fast‑moving, bespoke production environment.
Key responsibilities
- Cover machine‑shop activities during holiday periods.
- Support new product introduction and development projects.
- Perform high‑level inspections on precision components.
- Assist production teams with troubleshooting, maintenance and process improvements.
- Provide mechanical assistance and tool testing as required.
Required profile
- Qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience operating CNC machinery.
Required skills
- CNC machinery operation.
- Precision component inspection.
What we offer
- Salary £35,000 – £40,000 per year.

- Monday‑Thursday 08:00‑17:00, Friday 08:00‑15:00.
- Relocation to a brand‑new facility in Totton in early 2027.
