About the role
Join Ipsos as a Market Research Field Interviewer and help improve public transport across the UK. You will work on specific bus routes, stops or stations, using a tablet and survey materials to collect passenger feedback.
Key responsibilities
- Approach passengers and invite them to participate in a short survey.
- Ask a set of structured questions and accurately record responses on a tablet.
- Capture feedback on passengers' journeys and overall experience.
- Occasionally count passenger numbers (footfall) at designated locations.
- Complete each shift independently, typically lasting around 3 hours.
Required profile
- Confident speaking to members of the public.
- Comfortable working independently in various locations.
- Motivated even when response rates are low.
- Full driving licence with access to a car.
- Willing to travel locally and work on buses.
- Seeking flexible, part‑time fieldwork opportunities.
Required skills

- Paid per shift (approximately £13.33 per hour).
- Typically around two shifts per week, flexible to fit other commitments.
