About the role
This role offers a senior position for an experienced inventory professional to lead the implementation and ongoing management of a new Inventory Management System within a forward‑thinking NHS Trust.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver and manage the new Inventory Management System supporting the Scan4Safety programme.
- Work closely with the Assistant Supply Chain Manager and a dedicated team to ensure accurate stock control.
- Oversee timely replenishment of clinical consumables across the Trust.
- Lead the rollout, administration and continuous improvement of the system.
- Analyse inventory data to inform decision‑making and optimise processes.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years experience in a systems, information or data analysis role within supply chain or inventory management.
- Proven experience managing or supervising a small materials management team.
- Understanding of stock control processes, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- GCSE level education or equivalent; NVQ Level 3 in Supply Chain Management is desirable.
Required skills
- Omnicell Inventory Management System.
- Inventory management software and data analysis tools.
- Strong IT proficiency for handling inventory data.
