About the role
We are seeking a passionate Maths Teacher (or Early‑Career Teacher) to join a welcoming secondary school in Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will deliver engaging mathematics lessons to GCSE and A‑Level students, helping them achieve their full potential.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative, curriculum‑aligned maths lessons for secondary pupils.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with a team of maths teachers and teaching assistants.
- Contribute to departmental meetings and school improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a safe and motivating classroom environment.
Required profile
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or eligibility for ECT induction.
- Strong academic background in GCSE and A‑Level mathematics.
- Degree in a relevant subject from a reputable university.
- Enthusiastic, hard‑working and able to use initiative.
- Willingness to work as part of a large, supportive team.
Required skills
- Knowledge of the UK GCSE and A‑Level maths curriculum.
