About the role
We are seeking a passionate Maths Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in North London. The role involves delivering engaging mathematics lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, supporting their academic growth and confidence.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high‑quality mathematics lessons for KS3 and KS4.
- Assess student progress and provide targeted feedback.
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Support pupils with SEN and additional learning needs using adaptive strategies.
- Contribute to the school’s safeguarding and welfare policies.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS, PGCE or equivalent.
- Proven track record of improving maths attainment.
- Experience teaching mathematics in a UK secondary setting.
- Strong knowledge of the current UK mathematics curriculum.
- Commitment to inclusive education and continuous professional development.
Required skills
- Effective lesson planning and delivery.
- Classroom and behaviour management.
- Use of adaptive teaching methods for diverse abilities.
