About the role
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading facilities management company on a static site in Oxford. This full‑time position offers progression, training and the chance to work within a supportive team environment.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and complete associated paperwork and reports.
- Respond to reactive and emergency breakdown tasks, including out‑of‑hours call‑out rota.
- Oversee visiting sub‑contractors, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Maintain and inspect UPS systems, control systems, plumbing, drainage, boiler rooms, cooling towers, fan coil units, AHUs and heating pumps.
- Document all work accurately and adhere to company policies and health & safety procedures.
Required profile
- City & Guilds / NVQ Mechanical qualification (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a commercial facilities environment with solid building services knowledge.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Eligibility to pass a DBS check and to live and work in the UK.
